Thanks, Fred, for the info and the link -- I have been a huge fan of John Mayer, and all without knowing about his admiration for things Sting and Police. What great recordings these are! Anyone who hasn't heard him should give him a listen; he has great chordings and lyrics, sung with much feeling! Worth buying his cd. I have just added an excellent live recording of Tea In The Sahara by John Mayer on www.turningleaf.homestead.com John Mayer is obviously a huge Police fan -- not only does he cover Message in a Bottle and Tea in The Sahara, he also references Wrapped Around Your Finger in his song "83" and last week, he performed live in Central Park and started 83 with the first verse of King Of Pain, and ended the song with Girls Just Wanna Have Fun! Today I've recived the copie of this new item and they come in and usual plastic box with a totally promo PS with picture of the ver best of.. STING & THE POLICE and white letters on top cover who says 25 years of hits of STING & The POLICE and yellow leters on down with COMPILATION VIDEOCLIPS. The video tape has 16 tracks that they are listed on back PS with UNIVERSAL logo.It's a promo item of the featuring vdeo and DVD release. Hope this info. help to the avid Sting & Police collectors.
