The Police pulled through Salt Lake City last night and put on a very good
show. Of the four I've seen so far, Vancouver (fan-club), Denver, Dodger
Stadium, and this, I'd rank it #2 in performance. Bonus points for being on
my home turf. They've got it down to a science now and that is my only
criticism, the show has very little spontaneity. It was nice to hear
Demolition Man, I can't recall if they've played that at the other stops I've
seen them at. I wish "Walking in your Footsteps" was still on the list. I
liked the new video projection, it seems to me they weren't using HD at the
previous stops and now they are, but I was also considerably closer than
Denver and L.A.
Here is the setlist:
Message in a Bottle
Walking on the Moon
Demolition Man
Voices/When the World is Running Down
Don't Stand so Close to Me
Driven to Tears
Hole in my Life
Everything She Does is Magic
Wrapped Around Your Finger
De Do Do
Invisible Sun
Can't Stand Losing You
Roxanne
King of Pain
So Lonely
Every Breath You Take
Next To You
