STUNG: Reminding the World The Police ROCK! www.stunglive.com STUNG this week: Friday, 1/16 DAN'S IRISH BAR 1524 Civic Dr. (@ Main St.), Walnut Creek, CA Saturday, 1/17 IRELAND'S 32 3920 Geary St. (@ 3rd Ave.), San Francisco, CA The Police tribute band STUNG swarms into 2004 with two Bay Area pub shows this weekend. Friday night we return to DAN'S BAR in Walnut Creek for a rocking evening with the wonderful Walnut Creek crowd. Saturday we return to our SF home pub, IRELAND'S 32, for yet another evening of Police and Sting tunes! Our year end LA trip was quite a success! We rocked the Backstage Cafe Holiday Party in Beverly Hills with Ian Copeland and friends (STUNG drummer John "Boy" Messier even got an authentic cymbal from Stewart Copeland!) We then rolled over to Paladino's in "The Valley" for a great show with Jimi's Image, the Jam Sentinels and The Neil Deal! Check out latest photos from the LA weekend at www.stunglive.com. There is a band out there called Last Exit and a lot of their songs turn up there, which confused me too when I first got Kazaa.
