Just my opinion, but I think Sting is such a perfectionist that he wants the
lighting, the singing, the music to be perfect for every show. Maybe he's got
OCD. As much as I'd like to see a different show, I just don't think he's got
it in him. Even back in the Police days, I don't remember a whole lot of
differences from show to show, including the outfits. Can't teach an old dog new
tricks you know! It's not his fault he has us fanatics that go to more than one
show and we have to hear the same jokes over again and know every move he's
going to make! Can you imagine if he went the Celine Dion way and played Vegas
night after night? How many people would go to more than a couple shows? I'm
sure those shows don't change up either.
