Buy deluxe CD from Amazon, immediately download it, listen to it once, put it aside, and when the CD arrives in a few days, put it away and don't bother opening it. I love his lyrics (although these are mostly dark) because they presuppose that the listener will understand what he has to say, and his rhythms and schemes are so clever, I just shake my head at his mad skills! The music does indeed reference the Soul Cages -- he actually sings about the Soul Cages in one number! -- but that is completely fine with me. As far as I'm concerned, that was some of his finest work. This is also a fine work, which I really enjoyed listening to, and will enjoy many times over, but it isn't terribly commercial. But what a refreshing break from the trashy pop that passes as music nowadays! There are no gimmicks or needless noise; just music. Really good music. My grade for this CD? I give it an A+, but that's me. I hope others will enjoy it as much as I did. Can't wait to hear what you all think! Have a great week! Hi Gang, Looks like Sting is scheduled to appear on the Letterman show this evening (CBS, 11:35 PM eastern). I hope this is the start of a publicity tour for the CD. Mine arrived today, and it's nice to see the lyrics printed out, since I find the Geordie accent challenging at times. My opinion stands, BTW: I think this is a wonderful CD! Have a great week! I really like the cd! Human Rights Concerts to be released on DVD/CD

The films of all the "Human Rights Concerts" have been digitally restored and are to be released in 2013 in DVD, audio and digital formats. Three of the four films have never been available in any format since their one-time-only airing on TV - making the upcoming release all the more exciting. The complete concert set will be released on a 6-disc DVD box-set in the Fall of 2013. The title of the box-set is "¡RELEASED!" and features Sting and The Police. The DVD box-set will be released in: - The World (except North America) by Eagle-Rock on Monday 28th October 2013 - USA & Canada by Shout! Factory on Tuesday November 5th 2013 There will also be CD versions of the music from the concerts released on the same dates. The audio release in the World outside North America will be a series of four individual CD sets - one for each of the four concerts. Presenting a total of 89 songs from the concerts. The audio release in the USA & Canada will be a 2-disc CD - also titled "¡RELEASED!" - containing 30 highlight songs from the four concerts. In addition to the 6-disc DVD box-set and companion CDs - a single-disc DVD - and corresponding 2-disc audio CD - featuring 30 highlights from the concerts will be available throughout the World (except North America) via Eagle-Rock. Both the DVD and the CD are titled "GET UP! STAND UP!" Cheers, Karel

Does anyone have an update on the Andy Summers led documentary Cant Stand Losin You? I read that it was going to be released in the summer of 2012 but havent seen anything since. Even his website I believe still says that. I saw the movie at the premiere (even got to ask him a question which he quite enjoyed) and loved it. But I am hoping to pick up the DVD and re-watch. Hi All, While my CD has yet to arrive from Amazon, they have released the MP3 version to my Amazon Cloud Player, and I just finished listening to all 20 tracks. While I find it musically wonderful, I wonder if it will ever really make it to Broadway. It doesn't sound like a Broadway musical; I think it's too Geordie for American tastes! Agreed, except I'm in Canada (so with duty and shipping it'll be way more perhaps $30). Also it depends on the packaging. How does it differ?
