Hey Jenny, I'm with you. Sting coming to my home town and I'm going to be sitting at home that night regretting that I didn't go see him when his tour stopped here? I think not. I'd go see him even if the tour title was Sting...Yodeling the Oldies. I'm in for Vancouver, Seattle and Portland, as usual. Save some pepperidge farm for me. Hello gang! Good to see some lively talks here again! Perhaps our God just decided that 5 piece band is too small for him these days! :)  Anyway, I'm voting Yes for this tour as at least we got some new PR pics on the website... And a very promising tour tittle!!!!  Imagine your friends asking why are you going to Canada or States or wherever the tour brings you! Well, it's in my backyard, the Hollywood Bowl is an Excellent venue, I love orchestras, and I've seen these kinds of shows before, usually adding a richness, another dimension to the existing pieces... Yeah, I can see me with a bottle of wine, some brie, apples, and pepperidge farm... I'm in. Probably not with the expensive box seats, but I'm in. Hi Holly (and the rest of the list!) The top Vancouver tickets are $257.00...yikes...I will have to think about this one....maybe they will be cheaper at other venues (I can hope). I paid less than that (although admittedly not much less) to see The Police from the first ten rows...not sure if I would spend that much to see him with an orchestra. Have to wait and see if he comes anywhere nearby before I make a decision. I also noticed that the fan club is selling exclusive premium packages again that guarantee first 15 rows of the stage, a specially designed Sting concert shirt, a collectible Tour poster (numbered and exclusive to this ticket package), an official tour program, a commemorative laminate and an exclusive Sting Tour gift...I can only guess how much these are going to be! New Tour

I agree with some of the comments earlier on this upcoming tour. I just cant pass up an opportunity to see Sting and his latest. However this one is a bit of a different one. I saw him at one of the Winter shows and think wow this guy just loves to tour and play. It is amazing and he certainly is a hard worker. And for that I am glad. I think back at all the different tours in past 6 years or so including the Broken music tour etc. I sure hope the tixs arent too much. Also, not sure how exciting this will be. Is there an album of orchestra versions down the road coming out? Or will it not include Police songs as the other guys may not go along with the idea? David

Wow, the silence since Sting announced his tour with the Philharmonic has been deafening. I sense a disturbance in the Force... can it be Sting fatigue? I will probably go if the tickets aren't a king's ransom and the venue is within driving distance, but I would have trouble in these tough economic times justifying a huge expense for something I've seen and heard before. I was among those quite disappointed with the Winter album, so while I'm glad he's sticking to tried and true songs, it's interesting that he's doing the whole orchestral deal. Comments? Agree? Disagree? Hey, not all of you are stuck in the middle of the worst winter in Pennsylvania since the blizzard of '93, and even I'm not hibernating, so let 's hear from you!
