Hey there, I'm going to be in the city Sunday night to see Chris Botti at the Blue Note and will be going to a couple of Yankees games on the 26th and 28th. Actually, I would bag the night game on the 26th if you find a club. Please post if you end up finding something. New Hyde Park or the Southampton works for me as well.... anyone hear about date for broken music dvd release

just curious if anyone heard a confirmation or additional info about a DVD release from Sting of the Broken music tour? By the way I agree with earlier comment - I dont recall this list being so dead in years and years. You'd think that Sting's still pretty active that the list would be more buzzing - what with live 8. Seems a lot of us fans were hoping on a little reunion only that seemingly not to be even entertained... D

I think we're all still here. I know for me, I need to take his hiatus' to catch up on my own life. Keeping track of and trying to get to his shows can be a time suck! Michelle in tx ps: anyone know if he's doing any charity gigs in NY the next couple of weeks? Seems like we never hear about them until after the fact. We'll be vacationing up there and the only thing I'm committed to catch at this point is Chris Botti at the Blue Note (and maybe Westhampton) and the Yankees 2x.... STUNG will be doing a special set of all Sting solo material for these shows, so come check it out, and hear what Sting would have sounded like with his boys from the Police playing his best solo material. June was a great month for STUNG. We rocked the Fillmore, broke into the Rancho Nicasio in Marin, and traveled far south of the border to rock the Hard Rock Café in Mexico City! We even played an even bigger surprise set at the famous Bulldog Club in Mexico City with a great Pearl Jam tribute called "Dildo" (don't ask me, but they rocked!). Live 8

If you can catch the clip show on MTV2 or VH1Classic, they show the entire EBYT. The one-hour clip show is running on those two channels at various times. I recognized Josh on drums and Dominic of course, but who was on guitar? And of course, they will surely market a box set DVD of the whole thing, so if you don't get these channels. son't worry! The most amazing part of the whole thing for me was the woman who was saved as an infant -- Geldof described her as being 10 minutes from death -- and is now a gorgeous 20-year-old agricultural studies student. I sobbed like a baby, and I still tear up every time I think of it (like now, for instance!). If you haven't signed the petition yet, just watch that clip and then try to keep yourself from signing!
