Alternative Lyrics to "Bed's Too Big Without You"

I distinctly remember at two or three of the several Police shows I attended that Sting substituted (presumably because of problems at home) the words "best to be without you" for "bed's too big without you." Does anyone have audio evidence of this, or a similar recollection? Thanks, Steve

This list has been awfully quiet this last few days hasn't it?? Anyway, I used to have a cool set of animated Sting mouse cursors for Windows 98, but when I upgraded to XP I forgot to move them over. I have searched the web for them, but can't find anything. It is years since I downloaded them, so maybe they have disappeared... Does anyone have them or know where I can find them? I have ALWAYS said that his cover of Come Down In Time was easily as good and IMHO better than the original, although Elton did a lovely job. Elton and Sting also did a duet of that song, which is also delightful. As far as The Shadow of your Smile, it has also been a request (dream) of mine for EVER that he would do a cover album of Jacques Brel/Michel LeGrand/Charles Aznavour songs!!! He has the PERFECT voice for their songs, and Shadow of your Smile would suit him to a tee!! Happy belated New year one and all! Holly

Hi everybody I just thought it'd be interesting to know what all of you think are the best Sting songs NOT from a studio album. IE b-sides, tribute songs, songs only performed live etc. I started wondering since I've been listening a lot to "A Love Affair - The Music of Ivan Lins" at work lately. "She Walks This Earth" is really an amazing song and Sting's voice is perfect on the recording, I really think it's one of the best vocal performances by Sting ever. Something strange but I feel like I'm in love everytime I hear the song (I am in love, so it's not THAT strange). Anyway here comes my list. Another song that's great is "End of the Game", why, WHY wasn't it on "Brand New Day", it would easily have been the best song on the album. Well, that's my thoughts, here comes my list. 1.. End of the Game 2.. She Walks This Earth 3.. Pirate's Bride 4.. Come Down in Time (Elton John) from the Two Rooms album (I hope that's the name of the album). 5.. Tempted (Squeeze) Only performed live. Ohh, I came to think about another song too. "Another Day" from the "Bring on the Night" album. Is this an original Sting song? If it is, why has he never recorded it for an album? Cheers, Patrik
