Anyone out there? <:-) Did we all make it to the new list? Check, check... DeeKay, waiting anxiously for his Orbital-DVD to arrive... friggin amazon! >:-)
I'm here... just for old time's sake, I guess.... I understand all the action moved a long time ago to the Loopz message board/forum? But I've never gotten around to checking it out. I just rely on my iPod to play some orbital tracks in shuffle mode, and that's enough for me :-) Kurt

i am here here i am anyone else heard the new chemical brothers? i landed an extra copy at the ol' radio station this weekend, so i just listened to it. top notch stuff. they seem to have fully gone down the progressive road. most of the tracks would fit nicely into a mix by sasha (who has been spinning both "it began in afrika" and "star guitar" amongst other djs). if i recall correctly, there's only one track that's reminiscent of their big-beatier days. it's good to see that even highly commercialy successful groups can still manage to evolve. the only unfortunate thing, i guess, is that they evolved from the big thing of yesteryear to the big thing of...toyear. sorry...it's late and i'm tired. anyway, fortunately for me, i'm really into progressive house, so i really like the album. and, because i have to make mention of it, everyone should pick up Brothomstate's "Claro." it is, in my opinion, one of the best cds of last year. think Plaid with more glitchy beats. beautiful, wonderful stuff. right, well, i'm sure this'll be the last post to the big-O list that you'll receive from anyone for a while...savor it ;) brandon invergo --- DeeKay <dee@gmx.li> wrote:
