let's see those top 10s (or 5s or 3s or whatever), at least for my own reading pleasure.
unfortunately i haven't seen too many electronic shows. the only ones pertinent to this list would probably be orbital and plaid (both seen in denver in the last couple of years) and while plaid was definitely fun and interesting, orbital schooled them in terms of intensity, stage presence, crowd (oh god the plaid crowd sucked), and everything else. lately my tastes have been drifting toward the so-called "jamband" scene, where there is currently a lot going on with mixing electronic elements into more conventional rock formats. sound tribe sector 9 is a good example - they have an absolutely UNREAL drummer who lays down these lightning-fast breakbeats, and then add various effects and loops and atmospherics over the top. very cool. there are many other examples, but none of them very this-listy, so i'll shut up now... hello to all who, like myself, never bothered unsubscribing. :) -nub _________________________________________________________________ Send and receive Hotmail on your mobile device: http://mobile.msn.com
