Was the concert full at all?
it wasn't *packed* like a punk show or anything, but it was definitely a tight fit in different areas. it was a nice crowd if you ask me.
i was shocked at how little i recognized (i have trainer, not for threes, restproof clockwork, double figure, and peel sessions.. but i admit i haven't listened to trainer or peel sessions enough to recognize much from them).
yeah, they seemed to have played a lot of unreleased stuff. i have the same albums as you and i'm very familiar with them. like i may have said before, i'm not sure if what they played is actually on P-Brane, but it's definitely of the same sound.
i am really looking forward to p-brane though because i want to hear their take on the experimental side. i can't get too into new autechre but the plaid concert seemed like stuff i could groove to.
It's definitely as out-there as Autechre. The beats are just more complex than previous Plaid tracks (with the exception of a couple on Double Figure, if i remember correctly). It's a pity it's only 4 tracks long, but i guess it's just a warmer to the new album (summer or fall of this year, if i recall). the packaging isn't all that exciting either: all clear jewel case with no inserts at all, just a clear sticker. it's got the new plaid logo on it though. enjoy brandon invergo __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
