sweet! guess I gotta chase that one down... 808 state has always rocked my house though don solaris took time to sink in.. which is to say, it was good, but it got better :D
i just gave it another listen. i definitely has the same *vibe*, for lack of a better word, that existed in old 808 state and similar artists (orbital etc). almost an acid house vibe. the music is, obviously, a bit more modernized. there's a variety of styles represented too, house, d'n'b, etc. it's good. i'm not sure if i'd recommend it to people that are new to electronic music, but for fans of older stuff, i definitely recommend it.
