Ooh, it's alive! Good to see some old names floating through my inbox. I swear I walked around in a daze for a few days when I first heard the news about the split. I'm hoping to go to the UK in June to see one of the not-quite-last English Shows, June 24/25 at Brixton Academy. I really wish I had a Glastonbury ticket, or more vacation time so I could hang around for T in the Park/Oxegen, but I don't. I don't anticipate any stateside shows, and I've been saying for years that I wanted to go to a show in England, so I guess this is pretty much my last chance. Anyway, is anybody planning on going to the Movement Festival (Detroit, May 29-31) or Mutek (Montreal, June 2-6)? I'm deciding between the two, the Movement lineup should be up later today, Mutek has the first live Plastikman show in 9 years... Either way :) Aimee

for the one or two of you downloading the glastonbury '02 DVD torrent - when your download is finished PLEASE PLEASE keep your window open until everybody's download has completed (ie. until your upload rate goes to 0), otherwise i'll be fronting all the bandwidth myself for, like, a long time. there's also the possibility that you're firewalled, or otherwise unable to upload because your ports 6881-6889 aren't open. in this case, there are multiple FAQs on the sharingthegroove.org board about how to correct this problem. thanks everybody - i plan to keep this thing up until everyone's done. it'll be worth it, trust me. :) cheers, nub _________________________________________________________________ Express yourself with the new version of MSN Messenger! just checking. i assume by now you've all heard the sad news. (if not, check the loopz.co.uk news section.) unfortunate for sure, but it's not often you see musicians with enough integrity to know when it's time to hang it up. in any case, i'm sure we haven't heard the last from the brothers hartnoll. so, as for that blue album... i'm listening to some alleged promo mp3s right now. i really like what i'm hearing so far - classic orbitalesque melodic layered synths, pounding beats, and general awesomeness. nothing like going out on a high note. :) now, let's see if this email actually makes it to someone, or just gets lost in the void... -ben aka nub _________________________________________________________________ Is your PC infected?
