What people don't understand saying they got in once and never again, is that their ISP might block port 21 or their router is not set up properly or some BS like that. For the few that "never got in" I tried to help them and figure it out. Most got in and were able to use it for many years. 5 years it has been up in one form or another. I just think that it is time for a break. I might get it back up and running after we find out where we are gonna be living. Don't know. It takes a lot of time, not to mention hardware, to keep files there and trouble shooting for people that ask can you help me figure out port 21 and what is passive mode for the 1400th time. For the people that use it and appreciate it, Thankx and for those that don't. Thankx as well. It's been almost 5 years and you're still ranting and raving about your shitty FTP? Christ, is this the 12th or 13th time you've made this announcement? One could only hope it's actually, seriously going down, but no. Not a chance. Don't worry folks, the RMStringer FTP will be back up soon enough. For those that couldn't get enough of the broken downloads, unorganized files, and crappy bandwidth; never fear. Roaches and the Stringer FTP - they'll outlive us all. -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces+0rb=bi11i.com@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces+0rb=bi11i.com@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of RMStringer Sent: Tuesday, October 25, 2005 3:46 PM To: 'What were the skies like when you were young?'
