RE: Re: [Orb] re: OT Request
All I can say is that you people have a pretty sad view of the world. I imagine the real answer is somewhere between all of your points of view and is constantly changing. I don't really mind OT posts but I really cant stand the insipid name calling (that directed at everybody). Thought doesn't have to be original to be correct. As for the individual who said it's something in the middle - good luck. T

Talk about your political bull shit somewhere else. I've been reading your posts due to sheer boredom, and felt I had to reply. This is a forum for Orb related material. That means if it doesn't go bleep, blip, zooooooooing with a groovey rhythm, it doesn't belong here. There are PLENTY of bull-shit-spreading web sites and email lists that preach the gospel of "its all their fault, my view is the ONLY right view"... Go join one of those and stop trying to impress us with your grade school recess style arguments. Everything has its place. Don't muck up a musical forum with subjective arguments, please. I would like to thank those who mentioned the boomkat website last week. Ordered the Kompassion 12", Komplott 12", Masterblaster 12" and the Battersea Shield CD. I also picked up the blue Once More single I was missing at Borders a few weekends ago. I basically got it for one track but at least it was free (gift card) and I momentarily satisfied my inner completist. My hopes are up for the Battersea Shield CD. Now if only the Mad Professor project would be released..... -matt

Waaah. It's not like there's any traffic on this list anyway. Besides - ask yourself: Do you like music? How about states of mind that are accomplished in ways that the Man has decided not to allow? What if music itself were taken away in similar fashion? What's to prevent this from happening? By what right? How do you know? Did the middle ground tell you? Maybe these topics have some validity on a music list, after all. T
