FYI, this arrived in LA today in mint condition and with a nice colour badorb sticker. I love Outer Space. Is that a Monty Python sample right at the beginning and again at around the 5'00" mark? I get the feeling that "I am the Red Worm" could have developed into quite a nice track had been longer. It just seems to hit a brick wall as it starts to get going. Maybe it would be better live? Also, a couple of people said they were disappointed by "Bless You". Curious as to what they were expecting? A new Orb album? BadOrb was never meant to be just The Orb, was it? Granted, there are a couple of weak tracks but overall I dig it. Aint gonna argue about track 12 tho' - it's shite. They could've done without the multimedia bit too for my money. Nice try but it's just the website innit? I tred sending a message through it but it buggered my office Lotus Notes just before it crashed. So, here's the question. Which tracks would we add to the CD in place of the multimedia part if it were up to us? martin
ahhh...that's easy! Ayumi Hamasaki - Monochrome (black and white mix) Ayumi Hamasaki - Monochrome (see the game in colour mix) Fusionic - Exon S.E. Berlin - 002 the first 2 are masterpieces!! I have Flash installed on my comp and I was even able to open the pics and the songs separately and see the floating images as individual pics and not in the BadOrb console. It did not crash my comp. I was hoping for actually psychedelic music that was enjoyable to listen to. Not The Orb, but something of at least similar in quality. I guess I'm just picky, but I was hoping for more "WOW!" and less "eh...okay I guess..." Does that make sense? I mean it's not HORRIBLE, but I found the majority of it to be pretty mediocre.

I know what you mean, but I've thought that about most of the Orb's output since live93 ... i find Orblivion and Cydonia more than listenable, but they ain't Ultraworld or UFOrb. and I won't even say what I think of Pomme Frites ;) I think there are great tracks on the later albums - just as I think some of the BadOrb stuff is great - but the overall level of quality is lower and there are more "eh...ok i guess" tracks -- "Let life ripen and then fall, Force is not the way at all." - Lao Tzu
any guesses on what the EP title means? is it another acronym, or just a reference to something us silly Americans wouldn't get? =) rachel ______________________ Rachel's Shrine to The Orb: http://www.migoto.com/orb
Got me thinking that one. This may explain; "....The Land of Elphame is, in essence, that same realm to which Hylas was transported by the water nymphs, and it is figuratively entered by way of a sacred pool which constitutes the daleth - the doorway to the Light." http://www.geocities.com/elchasqui_2/RingLords9.html Billy -> rachel wrote:

I thought it sounded kind of Hinduish....but think it's probably loosely related to this:- http://www.geocities.com/elchasqui_2/RingLords9.html
