I live in the US and have bought the regular US version and the Deviant records version of Auntie Aubrey 2. Are there different tracks on the (UK) import version and if I order it from the BadOrb site will I receive the (UK) import version? Much Thanks - John Wintemute
Q. Are there different tracks on the (UK) import version A. Don't know. Haven't seen a confirmed UK tracklisting i.e. one that I've had my hands on. I know people posted about it ages ago but it wasn't out over here then. Q. if I order it from the BadOrb site will I receive the (UK) import version? A. Almost certainly, yes.

The original question is unclear; he mentions the "regular US version and the Deviant records version of Auntie Aubrey 2", and then asks about the "(UK) import version". The Deviant version is the UK version. The US one is on Ultra. Perhaps there is some confusion between the various versions on his part. Or not. If one has the Deviant version, one has the UK version. The UK version (the one on Deviant) of AAEBtCoD 2 (the one with the gecko) has the KLF - 3am Eternal as the first track. The US version (the one on Ultra) has Pato Banton - Beams Of Light. I don't have time to do the whole tracklisting, but I'm sure it's been posted relatively recently. The upshot is that, essentially, disc 1 from the US version is disc 2 of the UK version (with one or two changes); disc 2 from the US version was heavily gutted (perhaps due to licensing issues) with only 3 or 4 tracks remaining, had a bunch of new tracks added, and became disc 1 of the UK version. Clear as mud? ;)

Yes; BadOrb is a subsidiary of Deviant, so they are certainly going to sell you their CD, rather than Ultra's. (And so they did, when I ordered one in.) FWIW, I'm not sure which version I prefer more...the track selection on each has a lot to recommend it...perhaps a 3-CD set is in order... ;) Chris np: Kirsty MacColl - Titanic Days
