The prize isn't the best, to be honest. Twood be interesting to do a DJ set at this festival, but I'd rather have a full Sony Audio Suite than just Acid Pro; which isn't that great of a sequencer. Also.....I don't know who is either pulling one over, or who made the mistake, but the tracks offered up are sadly not "Katskills". The tracks are of "Mother Nature", which is still a great track, but I would have preferred to remix "Katskills". "Don't worry about it......." It also sucks that they didn't supply an Acid document for the original sequence. All the tracks are not the same length, so it's almost impossible to recreate the original mix, and then disassemble that. Maybe you'll hear a mix from me in the coming weeks.....maybe not........let's trade mixes though. I'd love to hear some other mixes from the list. SKIDOO IN THE IS-OUSE!!! Michael "Skidoo" Thomas P.S. On another note.......THE ORB IN SAN ANTONIO - HOLY SHITE!!!! Hopefully LX will let Music For Listeners document this tour as well with a nice juicy live recording.
Ok.... The tracks are already sequenced at the zero point in the time line. However, how do they expect us to do remix a song without the main vocal track? They didn't supply all the tracks of the song. Booooooooooooo...... Now that I've given my two cents, get ready for some s'mambience..... M-T
