Sell it all out. I used to say I listened to only music that wasnt used to sell shit (just like the dearly departed Bill Hicks sz) but along came this band called The Orb. It is kinda nice when you can explain to some1 who they are by naming that commercial, but now its out of memory. I mentioned I picked up on Plaid in the background of a Pantene Pro-V commercial. I heard, yesterday WEEN selling Honda Civic's with "Ocean Man" off the Mollusk. That was a kick in the seeds. I mean I expect these bands to earn a living. Hell its prob for the best. I mean royalties will pay them back for all the music I dowloaded. Does anyone listen to National Public Radio? I listen to BBC like every friggin night (mine as well monitor the country I gladly send all my money to for CD's). I noticed Prefuse 73, Other People Place, and other warp,rephlex artists in the 4-20 second interlude clips, anyone else notice that? Not sold out but odd. The only thing I ever heard of Clear Channel doing good is the Grateful Dead Cd's they've been putting out. I am not a huge dead fan but went to Dylan and Dead out here in Sommerset,WI in August. Yesterday a local DJ played the $25.00 3disc set he got of the show. You sign up at the show and it gets mailed a month or so later. They master it on the bus. Clear Channel might start having them the same day of the show!!! Its the first show I've been to that I've heard live I think. The "space drums" set is kinda cool w/this steel drum calypso effect that sounds like Plaid a bit. They are ambient, when you check out Infrared Roses and such. Disney is jacked. I am a bill collector and called to get a hold of some1 the other day. I got the puppeteer and actor line and when I asked the receptionist how she was doing she is required to say "I'm having a Magical Day, and you?" Image being hungover and having to ans the phone "Yeah, I'm having a just fucking magical day, what do you need I got a fucking splitting headache and shiner from a bar fight last night."
