To celebrate my stepson going off to college, the whole list is invited to a little party on Friday Night! You will need: pre-flight training, a TELESCOPE (or binoculars), beverages, cd player, erb and the CDr that we will mail you. The attempt will be to land as many of you as possible on the moon (estimated arrival time = 1 am Saturday morning).

It is important that you start your pre-flight training as soon as possible. You should listening to "Orbvs Terrarvm" immediately and sometime before friday, both "Adventures beyond..." cd's.

ah yes. this is a very nice CD. in fact, yesterday i was listening to it when i went for a walk down by the Cattahoochee River. there is a "wolf howling noise" about 10 minutes or so in that scared the crap out of me! i thought some dog was either being tortured in the woods, or about to attack me. so i took my headphones off and looked around -- and there was nothing except other walkers looking at me funny. i put the headphones on, back spaced a bit, and there was the sounds again. anyway, aside from being tricked by that one sound, i really really liked the CD. good stuff.

The Moonmission Party should start at about 11.45 Friday night, and depending on the position of the nearly full moon the telescope should be required at about 12.45,
