While driving to work today at about the 8 O'clcok hour, the local NPR station (Chapel Hill, NC) does their regular station id. I have been hearing this music in the background under the announcer and I swear it is little fluffy clouds, but not the album version. They play this sample quite a bit and the reason I think it might be the orb is because they have played stuff like Moby, DJ Shadow (new album out yet?) , Banco De Gia, etc. Has anyone else who listens to NPR heard this or am I wishfully thinking? Thinking maybe the while station id is local, the music they get to play might be from an approved list blah blah blah. kr, dcdawson
No, you probably are not mistaken. I myself (Winston-Salem, NC) have heard Orb on NPR before in the morning between stories on Morning Edition. It was Toxygene. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris Dawson" <ChrisD@productsafet.com> To: <orb@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Tuesday, May 14, 2002 7:44 AM Subject: [Orb] The Orb on NPR?
