You know, I still can't believe how people are just so shitty about anything that's not the first two (or, there is a camp that likes Terrarvm). Jesus fucking christ people, it's still the damn Orb - they could have quit long ago! They are still better than most electronica! Hell, than most music! It's also amusing how many times we can go around this merry-go-round. Orblivion was totally shat upon when it came out but now it has its own camp too! BTW, the only reason I'm bothering replying is you never know who might be monitoring - other than Kwissy of course - and I guess it would be nice for LX to know that SOME people actually dig what he's up to now instead of what he was doing _15 years_ ago. Well, Transit Kings CD has arrived and is very nice (especially "Oh Shit"), and "America No More" features Johnny Marr (ex-Smiths) on guitar! :-) Also, the Komfort EP is very nice too... Hmmm not sure I like the sound of THAT. T'would be a shame if LX and crew failed to appreciate America's efforts to protect the Western god damn world...which we're doing really in a half-assed, too-little-too-late fashion (granted, if they were to point out the folly of THAT I'd be ok with it). T

wooooo easy there, i never said it was shite, I still love Terravm, Orblivion, and Bikes and Trikes was good BUT I dont think it was the best orb album. Im actually thinking the next one will be something special since Krissy's m8 Greg Hunter is pressing buttons and sliding switches etc. Should be interesting :-)

Everyone has their misses occasionally. I've yet to hear an Orb LP that was more than 1/3 misses (Orblivion is what I personally would say is closest). 2&3 has a couple but it really comes down to taste there - I hate deep house but the Orb manages to do it quite well - I just don't like it. T

Fished in! Fished in! Party on, Wayne. T PS - see previous poll response, but I think Terrarvm and Cydonia are actually the best. 2&3 has some VERY good material on it too, and I think has been unnecessarily slagged by the "Orb faithful." UFOrb, contrarywise, is NOT all that good, really - a lot of disco or something. Early stuff - Ultraworld/Aubrey better IMO.
