actually, I've noticed two things in the time i've been exposed to thrash on this list:

1. my love of the early orb stuff thrash worked on has diminished quite a bit

just so i'm not blowing all OT shit: the new MBM In Dub album is pretty good. i can't remember if it had been discussed yet, but if you like dub i doubt you would be disappointed. fuller than tino with some great samples and amazing beats.

All his notes and words are intoned slowly, on lengthy note values. Its meditative, intensely spiritual and the quality is static. Unlike the orb, the melodies don't invade the composition and leave room for a more bass and drum driven score. I know you'll be a real musician one day. Like I said, grow your hair and get the old band back together.
