Kids 'round these parts seem to be really into the whole Adult. / Ersatz Audio electro-punk thing at the moment. Some of the less obvious (?) stuff I've been into lately includes Dabrye, Jeff Leopard, France Copland, The Free Association, Dexter, Innerstance.Beatbox, Metro Area, Edan, and Paul B. Davis. Also, *anything* produced by the DFA or on DFA Records, including LCD Soundsystem, Radio 4, The Rapture, and The Juan MacLean. I've yet to go wrong with anything they touch (their remixes are great, too). Disclaimer: none of the artists mentioned above sound much of anything like the Orb. Just what's been catching my ear of late. Your mileage may vary. JG
