Does anyone want to trade cds of random songs from your collection with me? Here's how I do it, maybe you've got other software that will do the same thing. I can't figure a way to do this with Winamp or any of the other media players I've got. I open Musicmatch Jukebox. I highlight the folder with all my music in it (My Music II for various reasons). I drag this to the Playlist editor of MMJB. Wait for fucking ever for it all to load. Shuffle the playlist. Wait for ever again. Open the MMJB burner, set it for mp3 cd, and drag 80 songs in a chunk from the playlist to the burner. Keep blindly adding the next song until it reaches 700-ish MB. Switch the disc type to data. Burn the disc. Listen to it on random play since the random selection of songs gets alphabetized. I've really enjoyed the first two cds I've burned like this. I think it's important that there be no editing of the random selection other than to make it fit on a cd. I'd like to do one for one trades with any of you that want to try this. Also, if you've got another method for creating the cd, fill me in. I've found some delightful songs that I didn't even know I had and the weird shifts in mood and style is really fun. ____________________ www.psychicreform.com ____________________
