Praxis is still playing? I've got some weird Praxis stuff in my collection. I used to have a double Buckethead cd but it was pretty much early wanking that was refined to a single Praxis disc so I traded it for something, probably drugs or sex. Rob Wasserman has a new album called Space Island that is pretty good. It does devolve into mindless guitar/bass/drums wanking a la Dixie Dregs at times (when that fast, stiff swing, 6/8, white beat appears I almost fast forward) but is mostly super sweet. Praxis just played Boner-ooo if I'm not mistaken. I think there was a chick playing violin too. Rob Wasserman? Uggg....I played a show with that guy....he did an improvised set with DJ Spooky. Kinda sucked. He also one of those "portly" guys who feels he should show up to the gig in sweat pants and a dirty old t-shirt.
