Have any of those great old names worked with any of the electronic artists in production? Wes Borland worked w/ Crystal Method, although I don't know who is the old one. You don't get much more washed up and shittier than that right there (although gotta respect his leaving Bimp Liskit albeit far too late).
MP3... Evil. Why not install a cassette deck and copy all youre albums to tape? sounds just as good and cassettes are super cheap nowadays... Best part is the vintage, anti-theft angle.
Actually vinyl to record dsnt sound that bad (although i prefer my home burner through the ol' rca's) only if we got the DNR button to toggle off the 'hiss." What are you all, the RCA victor dog listening for LX's voice. Am I the only one who has attended a loud heavy metal show? I often lament the higher registry of my hearing I lost (and continue to loose calling people w/fax machines turned on). I'm not saying mp3 compression doesnt get a lil messy (its like those vacum sealed closet organizers they sell at nigh on TV), its just that for most purposes (driving high on back roads w/yer friends) it works fine. All I care is that it gets loud and doesnt hiss (like the cassettess & Led Zeppelin remasters). Loud, no hiss, Loud no hiss... can you honestly tell the difference between bit sampling rates? Bullshit, w/most music, Bullshit !!! I say.... the orb has 32 tracks live so alot is going on but.... I'll take that pepsi challenge. matt On really romantic nights of self, I go salsa dancing with my confusion. - Speed Levitch _________________________________________________________________ Check out the new MSN 9 Dial-up fast & reliable Internet access with prime features! http://join.msn.com/?pgmarket=en-us&page=dialup/home&ST=1
