I liked Bentley Rhythm Aces. That was way happy.
I liked Fatboy Slim and I still do. It's not his fault he made the soundtrack to television commercials in 1999.
Yeah I still like Fatboy as uncool as that is, I like other "happy" stuff like Flaming Lips, Luke Vibert (Wagon Christ stuff especially) and even the first Lemon Jelly CD. Even better is funny music like The Orb, Ween, Zappa, Captain Beefheart, Weird Al (O.K. maybe I stretched it with that last one) but sometimes dark music makes me happy too. Even the work of the infamous Richard James, hey if the guy can inspire that much insane argument he must be on to something . . . (although I have avoided the Drukqs debate by refusing to listen to it) np: Meat Beat Manifesto- Storm the Studio R.M.X.S. - Speaking of dark stuff that gets me off, I say it's the finest MBM related CD in quite some time ,topping last year's R.U.O.K and Hello Friends which were pretty freakin good in their own right. _________________________________________________________________ Instant message with integrated webcam using MSN Messenger 6.0. Avoid the debate, but you've got to listen to drukqs If you liked hello friends, then check out the other stuff on that label, especially the Tino's Breaks albums (which is where most if not all the tracks came from), and I agree... RUOK was tops. .. :| eric :| :| www.xenlab.com :| enlightenment thru evolution .. -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of JASON HICKS Sent: Tuesday, October 07, 2003 6:20 PM To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [Orb] re: happy music
