RE: [Orb] More Ayumi trivia
If this is a bootleg, it by far the best I've ever seen. It has extremly complex packaging for a bootleg. The case is inclosed in a high quality full color printed box with a thick full color fitted booklet. The type overall is consistant and flawless. All the images on the box, insert, and CD are sharp and clear. However, mine does not have the the green "stamp" in the lower right hand corner of the cover like the one shown on ebay. Maybe I have the real one. Chris (whos been bugging people at work with cheesy techno remixes of indecipherable JPop all day) ;P np: Shpongle - Tales of the Inxpressible _______________________________________________ Orb mailing list Orb@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/orb

The green "stamp" is a sticker on the outer shrinkwrap. There are a couple of typos, and a few design glitches; nothing major, but not quite perfect. It is a nice package, but the discs are not the highest quality, and the packaging certainly isn't up to snuff compared to the Japanese releases. Anyone else? :) Chris

just wanted to confirm this is a bootleg :) avex puts out official taiwan releases, those are the only authorized non-japanese releases.. i've been tempted to get them myself though, i missed out on the initial japanese ltd. edition run, so now i'm stuck listening to the 2 out of 3 vinyls i managed to pick up..ahh well..i suppose putting out like 10,000 copies or whatever they made of these excerpt cd's is asking for bootlegging when they know there's a huge demand for them (even in non-asian countries). interestingly, avex is starting to put "copy protection" on all their cd's from now on..yippee..so i guess people with macs will hafta buy these bootlegs to play 'em in their computers, good thinking, avex! :) matt.
