Chris, Tim you will learn to use the delete key often if you stick around here. fvll
If you really want to get into political discussions with people that are also in good music, then try this list: indescion2004-subscribe@downtempo.com We used this on the Downtempo list to curb the OT posts, which were taking place in the heat of the 2004 election cycle. It's made both lists managable - as music is left to DT and ID2004 can run rampant with any type of political thought, posts, links, etc. mad love, .eric * * *xenlab (music) { * / .nfo + d.load =/ http://xenlab.ezrpm.com/ <http://xenlab.ezrpm.com> *}* Chris Polson wrote:

I recently joined the Orb discussion list a few weeks ago. The first week I joined I saw a variety of Orb and music related dialogue. Since then, all I see are flame wars by people with opposing social, political, and economic views. Most of the rhetoric is:
a) hyper-masculine, low-brow, poorly written, and ignorant
or
b) pseudo-intellectual, pretentious, repetitive, and ignorant
