Re: Music for Listeners - Orb stream link
Hello again good Orbsters.... M-T again. Glad everyone is enjoying the show. I had fun playing it. I was dog-tired, but I sure had a blast. There will also be....in the next two to three weeks or so, an exclusive podcast featuring more of LX's DJ set and a "wrap-up" of sorts. I wanted to talk more about MY adventures with The Orb, but I also wanted to fit as many songs in during the broadcast as I could, so I just played the music. So again, there will be another item to download in the near future. I'll come on here to tell people when and how to get the exclusive podcast with The Orb. (I did go pretty over-the-top eh???) To clear things up a bit for everyone who wants to listen... The playlist for the Orb show is here http://www.musicforlisteners.com/playlist.htm and you can listen to it in 128kps bandwidth here http://www.musicforlisteners.com/mflstreamhigh.m3u (This link should work in any media player, but Winamp is my favorite.) The playlist and link for the ORBSTREAM (two more hours of Orb exclusively for the web listeners) is found here http://www.musicforlisteners.com/streamplaylist.htm (This link should also work in any media player.) ..and yes...I figured someone would figure it out and post the direct links to the files. So for everyone e-mailing me asking how you can get a copy, Smiley has let the proverbial cat out of the bag...and you can follow his lead to your final capture...you didn't hear it from me though... :D Thanks again, Orb be in you, Orb be out you.... Michael "Skidoo" Thomas Peace...out P.S. Even though you all have direct links to the files...please support MFL, by going to the site and showing your support. Me and my co-host do this show without any monetary gains, so in essence, I paid for the Orb show to be posted for you all to listen. Please go to the website and at the very least give me a site hit or two. There will be more goodness on MFL in the future, so stay tuned.
...and for those having trouble capturing the stream, all you have to do is save the m3u file and open it in a text editor (notepad, etc) - and it will tell you that the files you need are:

..and yes...I figured someone would figure it out and post the direct links to the files.

P.S. Even though you all have direct links to the files...please support MFL, by going to the site and showing your support.
FOLKS - to stop me feeling so bad, could i please ask a personal favour from as many of you as possible to go to the site now, and have a surf around? THANKS. for example, if you haven't already, then hit this: http://www.musicforlisteners.com/streamplaylist.htm ...and i'll hold off posting the links to the "real" files for a little while, so that Michael can get some decent traffic in return for all his hard work. thanks a million, --- Smiley __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!?
