All IMO: There is nothing to "forgive". We're not a church; shit happens, and hopefully we all learn from it. Since Lazlo isn't actively moderating the list, we're self-policing. When any of us (including me) crosses the line, hopefully someone says something or defuses the situation. (I've gotten a few emails over the years asking me to chill out at various times, and have generally benefited from taking them to heart.) That said, my last email should also have been sent privately; my mistake and I apologize, both to you and the list. All I'm asking you to do is exercise a bit of thought. If you send an email asking someone to email you off list, it should be sent off-list in the first place; it is pointless to send it to everyone; it is meaningless to most and actively annoying to some.
