Well, a working version of the orb gigography is up. :) It seems to be working for me.. I've used it on both Mozilla and IE for the Mac and dabbled with it on IE for windows. I would recomment using a newer browser because of the stylesheet support. The php and mysql code seem stable. So basically, everyone can try it out now :) The address is http://orbus.terrarum.net. The sites not done, mind you, but it is working. The next main feature I want to add is to be able to edit a show thats already on the page.. incase of typos and stuff and to go back and add notes. Also the ability to add a new artist (you can add and organize shows based on either the orb or alex.. theres a link to add a new artist, but it doesnt work yet). And to be able to upload a picture / icon of yourself for some odd reason. So go ahead and try it out. If you have some info to add, by all means go for it :) If you see something you dont like, tell me what you'd like to see instead. If you see something broke, let me know. And the people who offered to do some images / layouts go right on ahead and we'll see what we can work in. This site is not 800x600 friendly. I tried to make it, but I'm also against 800x600 compatible sites in a way.. I mean.. why would anyone run their resolution at 800x600 on a modern computer? :P If it bugs a lot of people who will be using the page, I will work on fixing it, though :) Thanks --- Joe Topjian email: joe@portsys.net web: http://terrarum.net/joe
The sex problem has been fixed on the page.. everyone who created an account showed up as a female. if you log in and edit your account, you can fix the problem that way, but any new users will have a correct sex now :) Have there been any other problems? --- Joe Topjian email: joe@portsys.net web: http://terrarum.net/joe

Hi Joe, Nice work. I have a list of most (all?) early Orb gigs...dozens and dozens of them, up through 1999. Unfortunately, I don't seem to have a digital version of it, only a printout, which makes manipulating it a bit difficult. I could send you (or anyone who wanted to do the data entry) a photocopy, if necessary. However, I seem to recall printing this out from a list-member's Orb webpage...perhaps RJ Bijleveld? (sorry if I mangled the spelling) RJ, if this was your giglist, and if you are out there, could you provide a digital version? Or anyone else...? Chris

Is this just show info or recording info or both? Either way, I'll take a copy digital or non.. it might take a week or two to get everything put in, but eventually it would :) --- Joe Topjian email: joe@portsys.net web: http://terrarum.net/joe
