i know what you mean - once youve compossed, mixed and played live an album its time to move on - shame though - ive done a fair bit of surround stuff - not released anything yet - was suposed to do ozric tentacles pong masters ball in 5.1- but the smeging record comp decided against it one day before the gig after id hired splitters for every single individual channel on stage ! but HAHAHAHA youve got to laugh aint ya! im my opinion surround is made for ambient music not film or spice girls- space music whilst on mushrooms thats what its for - but for now i'll wait, and dream of a large field full of libertycaps and speakers all around -
Wait a second, does b'ham refer to a city north of Seattle known for its fungi? I'm a bit of an amateur mycologist myself (really!). -----Original Message----- From: orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-admin@mailman.xmission.com]On Behalf Of john bennett Sent: Thursday, January 02, 2003 9:45 PM To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [Orb] thrash on 5.1 i know what you mean - once youve compossed, mixed and played live an album its time to move on - shame though - ive done a fair bit of surround stuff - not released anything yet - was suposed to do ozric tentacles pong masters ball in 5.1- but the smeging record comp decided against it one day before the gig after id hired splitters for every single individual channel on stage ! but HAHAHAHA youve got to laugh aint ya! im my opinion surround is made for ambient music not film or spice girls- space music whilst on mushrooms thats what its for - but for now i'll wait, and dream of a large field full of libertycaps and speakers all around -
