Following Smiley's comments on the current state of the orb: Everyone has seen out of print and bootleg Orb stuff sell on e-bay for incredible prices, what I was wondering is who owns the copyright on these (that includes Live (mp3) shows, Anthology, Icons, Ultra rare tracks, etc, etc)? If they resort back to the orb, could Badorb press a largish number of each and sell them directly from their web site? Maybe a "Nostalgia isn't what it once was" Division of Badorb, to sell them online. They could advertise this division by posting one of each, (at a low price), every month on e-bay, with a link to Badorb in the posting. That should get other interested people to the site. I don't know about you, but I think that I would rather pay a higher price for a hard to get CD directly to the orb, rather than an independent dealer. Just a suggestion: trying to support the band. More money to the orb = more good music from the orb - the circle of life. cheers bill np, the happy Friday afternoon cackle of a flock of office secretaries.

while the Orb would get their precentage, the bulk of the money goes to the record label, i believe, who also owns the copyright... am i wrong here, folks? =) rachel
