I appreciate the response Alan, albeit a slow one. I have only driven through Denver when they built the new stadium and saw the old mile-high one half demolished and burnt. Its funny you should mention that rag... i have an old acquaintance that works for it and I hear its the countries biggest alt diaper... she sure can afford a lot of booger sugar. I'll probably just crank up some IDM on the ipod and ski off the K2 /Matterhorn or whatever 'better off dead-ish" double black diamonds i can find. Boulder is were i'm going and thats a tripped out place. My friends are only into eating raw foods now so I need to at least find some sushi or cattle-brains.
I visited Denver once and there were some pretty good record stores. I can't remember any names but there was a good alternative rag with ads for everything and stuff. I'm sure you can pick up a copy and find a place in the sun to read it while facing the white cap mountains to your west and drink a beer or two. Denver's a pretty fucking cool city by my standards. Hell, they had an ambient festival and booked me, what more need be said? ____________________
