Wow, john thanks for the praise, it's amazing what you can do with orb inspiration! (everyone should give it a try...) Don't know if they are that good, (a couple of years old) definitely back to a more ambient orb, which no doubt would upset a few. (Apart from my stuff I always try and mix the orb or one degree of them, keeps the energy purer!) You can get them off me I guess! (though, did see them on soulseek recently) I had been mulling over how to get these to interested people. The whole live "Moonlight Orberry" gig (last year) ended up costing me over $150 (sent out about 100 cdr's worldwide), which to me was worth it but not something you want to do every day. Had considered distributing via the MP3 route but have found that the quality is not as good and that people often burn't them with gaps, which to me is the equivalent of having your painting hung up in sections. I don't feel like I should sell them, as much of it was originally (premixed) someone elses property, so I'm in a bit of a quandary. I had considered selling them and then sending the bulk of the profits to the orb, or other sampled bands, on a % of profit per second of their work sampled (maybe do that with the next one). Any ideas what would be fair (and also not get me in trouble with big brother)? How about any interested parties contact me (off list) I copy and mail them, then you mail me back a dollar per cd to cover cdr/postage/package/artwork, etc, (or alternatively download them for free in their sacrilegious state). damn - I love the orb! cheers bill (bbroo) brooks
