rachel, it took you that long? my interest in badorb instantly disappeared after the mighty garphoo (hmmmm) used the words 'high demand' and 're-issue' in the same mail shortly after delivering the first three 12"'s (in that crap flimsy cardboard pack, which does NOT protect the covers). well, i didn't like that fuss about 'release & delete on the same day' in the first place. who cares. i don't. and now rough trade stocked badorb 12"es recently? and cheaper than from the source? no comment. and don't even mention that website. rant over. ciao, wolf. ----://----------------------------------------------------- mailto:wolf@kompaktkiste.de http://www.kompaktkiste.de http://www.kompaktkiste.de/shop ----://-----------------------------------------------------

Heh. I know what you mean. But...bear in mind: 1) BadOrb.com's primary business is 12" singles (and t-shirts(!?)), and their primary market is the UK. The other stuff is icing on the cake. 2) Bless You has been available in Japan for a month or two. 3) You should be able to buy it at any decent record store in the US today. (I did.) Have they screwed up? Yes. (Like me having BOB 12 & 13 while other people in LA still don't have BOB 11. And their packing still blows.) Will they continue to screw up? Yes. Have they made bad and/or contradictory marketing decisions? Hell yes. Was it a bad idea to release Bless You in Japan and the US before the BadOrb release? Yes, but it was probably out of their hands once they signed the deals. Are they getting better? Yes. Is there any better way, short of personally smoking LX out, to support LX/the Orb at this point? Not really. (Unless you can promote an Orb show or LX DJ set.) ;) Now, I have yet to be screwed hard by BadOrb; how they handle it if and when it happens could well change my feelings... ;) Chris np: Jon Spencer Blues Explosion - Experimental Remixes (anyone know if Bellbottoms (old rascal mix) actually features LX?)

Isn't it Alex 'Paterson'? On Jon Spencer CD turntable antics is attributed to Patterson.

Yeah. Hence my question. On further research, it looks like "Patterson" had a track on the first Headz compilation, so, it looks like it's not LX. Chris np: v/a - Bless You
