The Orb b2m while arrogant and 87% orb-affiliated tracks, did solidify my long-held suspicion that Alex pledges allegance to Aphex Twin. I mean, while impossible to compare, who can say who is a better ambient-stoner producer in the last decade+ Orb or Aphex? I think they are akin to one another I admit Drukgs is just Dick James cleanin out his hardrive, its a turd in a rock polisher but.... what has orb done for us lately? I'd rather play naked lawn darts on hot shale than listed to Cydonia. I'd rather me and Thrash oversee a double-blind trial of which cures the "pain within" better anusol or ambesol than listed to "Cool Harbour." 1st was Blue Room, Then Red Worm, & Green Ginger.... whats next Brown Briefs? Drukgs reminds me of fall, as it was release in fall. Light a stoge and drive thru some drab coloured corn fields, it seems to make some sense. Give him some credit, he owns a WW era tank, U-boat, and he claims to have shot Madonna down for a remix pitch. Did anyone see the flyers for Drukgs promoting the vinyl? Rich is behind a couch w/his face next to the vinyl, it is the creepiest shot of him ever. Does he look freeky live? or has his childhood acne scars left?
