haven't received the latest digest so i don't know if this has been reported yet but.... really crappy news went to NYC early yesterday to meet up with some friends for drinks.....one of them was on the phone and mentioned I was going to avalon that night. well the person he was talking to said he read an article about 7 clubs that had drug raids the night before and he thought avalon was one of them. he goes online and sure enough.....avalon was on the list so he said he wouldn't be surprised if the club was shut down for the night we show up to the club around the time the doors were supposed to open and there was a news van there doing a report on the drug raid. a sign on the door read "THE ORB HAS BEEN CANCELLED" now keep in mind i skipped the brooklyn show 2 nights before because it was a thursday and I already had tix for saturday. so i went home empty minded devastated never seen the orb yet and was so shocked when i learned that this tour was happening was so ready and properly prepared to have my face ruled and it in the end....i did get my face ruled....but in a bad way and not glorious SUCKS ASS :(
