A Holiday greeting to Orb list members around the World. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas. I have a couple of listings to report (Lazlo and Rachel take note) First off a US System 7 promo. [777 feat. Ultra Nate: Altitude] 2x12": 1992 US (Caroline Records; White Label; TENG 403) 7:23 Altitude (Orb Tour Mix) The catalog number is etched in the inner groove's on both disks. A sticker on the sleeve stated "Caroline-For Promotional Use Only". The album mix comes after the "tour" mix and sounds similar to the Orb mix. This is the same catalog number listed on the UK 2x12" release. So I'm thinking Caroline pressed up these white label promo's and just used the UK catalog number? Can anyone confirm? It's also listed as 777 feat. Ultra Nate rather then System 7. Up next, I just received three promo's from the UK with Orb tracks. These are Island Records pre-release discs. [Various: Pre-Release Vol. 27] CD: 1996 UK (Island/A&M/Polydor; IPA 27) (3:39) Toxygene [Various: Pre-Release Vol. 30] CD: 19?? UK (Island/A&M/Polydor; IPA 30) (3:58) Asylum [Various: Pre-Release Vol. 45] CD: 19?? UK (Island/Polydor; IPA 45) (4:14) Little Fluffy Clouds (Dance Mix 2) I have never seen this Island promo series before. I would imagine there are more of them out these with Orb tracks since they've been with Island for some time now. Can anyone fill us in with more details? Edward (FVLL)
