If *still* available, would definitely want a copy. Wow, '97... definitely pre-dawson. I've been lurking for about 3 or 4 months now and never heard anything ideas on the topic. If it has been that long, is it because "once done, why do it again" kind of thing? </curiosity> -----Original Message----- From: Chris Johnson [mailto:chrisjohnson@hydro-mill.com] Sent: Wednesday, July 17, 2002 2:59 PM To: orb@mailman.xmission.com Subject: Re: [Orb] orb fan cd Chris Dawson wrote:

Thinking it might be kind cool to have a cd of orb inspired music / covers made by fans.
Just a mad random thought...
Been done. Not bad; some fairly compelling tracks. Might still be available from Sean Wolfe / Spindle Productions. Now, a new, current project could be a neat thing; especially given the skills I've heard from some members of this list. ;) Chris np: Roedelius - Global Trotters Project - Volume 1: Drive _______________________________________________ Orb mailing list Orb@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/orb

I don't think copies are available anymore. I also recall that some of the artists that submitted music to the project are now frightfully ashamed of it all, and would rather not have people hear it. I think it would be great to do it again though. Why the hell not? I'd probably be able to submit a live track, since I'm planning on playing every day during the week of burning man. Of course, I might not perform at all.. hehe..
