I am sorry for the response that I sent to both lists. At this moment I have 4 users on my ftp. They r getting a lot of media from me Orb, KLF, and other non related tracks. If someone wants to send me media, they are welcome to. If someone wants to D/L media from my ftp that is also OK. All I ask is that I am tossed a bone once and a while for this. I do not think that this is an unusual request. So people please continue to browse my site. When I am ready to discontinue this service, the lists members will be informed. Thankx for the members that have contributed to my site and also my Thankx for the other members who have let me D/L and U/L media to their sites. Peace out from Austin Texas. I just don't use any default ports for my ftp. I am behind a router and I had to ffwd the port to use it also. Everyone knows that 21 is the FTP port for everyone under the sun. I just don't want that vulnerability on my system. That is the reason for port 920 and I am apt to change the port at any time. If I do this, I will let the lists members know. Most corporate firewalls only allow ftp on port 21... james

Wouldn't you only be vulnerable if your login/password were known? (I'm assuming you've disabled anonymous logins) I might be wrong...FTP security isn't my thing :) james
