My attachment to the single disc release of this album comes from a) listening to it all the time, b) listening to it with friends while really loaded on acid, c) listening to it more, and d) doing other combinations of drugs and throwing it on. Have you ever noticed how you get a favorite album imprinted so that when you hear a song from it you expect to hear the next song? That's why the double disc throws me off. All the mixes are longer and there is more and different stuff between the songs. Not that it is better or worse but it is disconcerting. There is also the argument that the shorter versions are a better distillations of the songs and have the full impact in a smaller and more pure form. Anyone want to make this argument? www.psychicreform.com Who let that monkey in here!?! Dada is dead. Watch your overcoat.

yeah, i am like that too. or with me, actually, it's often mix tapes. i listen to them in my car over and over, and then i expect to hear a certain song.....

again, i am right there with you, having only got the double CD set this past holiday season. at first i thought about seelign my single CD, but now i just have both, sometimes playing one, sometimes the other... and i have a 5 CD changer, so listening to the 2 CD is only slightly more work (loading them in) than the one....
