Hi, It's been quiet on the mailing list recently, in opposite to Alex. Since April, The Orb are releasing a previously unreleased track/version every week, up for grabs for GBP 0.99 via www.theorb.com . Number 7 got released last Tuesday ("Royal Blue Room"). BTW: does anyone know who "Matthew" is, the artist credited together with The Orb for this track? Regards, Johan

How are the tracks? Are they good or just dub crap? **RMStringer** Emailed from my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Rooted Android 4.0 ICS On May 28, 2012 4:14 PM, "polar-sequence" <polar-sequence@home.nl> wrote:

Seems like an arsed question, given that dub is and has been one of, if not THE major influence on LX and company... ----- Original Message ----- Sent: Monday, May 28, 2012 6:22:00 PM Subject: Re: [Orb] Orb exclusives on theorb.com! How are the tracks? Are they good or just dub crap?
Well arsed! Their "dub" stuff really never impressed me as there are other bands with much better dub offering s. Like Sounds from the ground. Good stuff vs. Minimal dub offerings from the orb. Imho. **RMStringer** Emailed from my Samsung Galaxy Nexus. Rooted Android 4.0 ICS On May 29, 2012 12:33 PM, "jpklein" <therealmxyzptlk@comcast.net> wrote:

Dub is a much bigger tub than what you term 'minimal dub.' And it's hard to deny the dub influence in the iconic, spacy Orb tracks. I mean the classic stuff, regardless of where one comes down on Fehlmann, which is NOT what *I* assumed or was evoking. On 5/29/2012 6:26 PM, Robert Stringer wrote:

I think they're great. The first one was a mad professor remix thing that's pretty spectacular. The other tracks are pretty dubby and chill, or they're slight remixes of older tracks. They're all worth checking out. Buy them, support lx and his quest for global domination. Sent from my iPhone On 2012-05-28, at 3:22 PM, Robert Stringer <rmstringer@gmail.com> wrote:
