Another suggestion would be to hit the BBC audio/video archives..... Its a plethora of content and it's all public domain to boot. -----Original Message----- From: orb-bounces+nothing=ultraworld.org@mailman.xmission.com [mailto:orb-bounces+nothing=ultraworld.org@mailman.xmission.com] On Behalf Of Stephen Wright Sent: Saturday, June 04, 2005 5:16 PM To: What were the skies like when you were young? I was watching Adventures of Baron Munchausen tonight and thought it ripe with good samples. 01:11:32:- What's this?|- This is our prototype ... 01:11:36:RX intercontinental, - 01:11:40:- radar-sneaky,|multi-warheaded, nuclear missile. 01:11:48:What does it do? 01:11:51:- It kills the enemy.|- All the enemy? 01:11:55:All of them. All their wives,|children, sheep, cats and dogs ... 01:12:02:- All of them, gone for good.|- That's horrible! 01:12:11:Well, you see ... 01:12:14:The advantage is, you don't have to|see one single one of them die. 01:12:21:You just sit comfortably, thousands|of miles from the battlefield, - 01:12:26:- and simply press the button. 01:12:30:Where's the fun in that?
The only Creative Archive content I've found thus-far is at the British Film Institute - Free Video Clips in the Creative Archive http://creative.bfi.org.uk/ As for the Creative Archive: "The Creative Archive License was launched on April 13th 2005 as an 18 month pilot designed to introduce and test the novel concept behind the Creative Archive with you: the audience, the market place and policy makers. We want your feedback on the license and your understanding of it. We also want to know what kind of material and the different formats you prefer to use so that we can best priorities digitization and rights clearance throughout the pilot and beyond. We also hope to better understand how you will engage with the Creative Archive."
