1) Can anyone recommend a video mixing program that will allow me to mix 3-D DVD video. Being that I will be mixing already produced DVD Field Sequential NTSC output (I presume?), {eg: it already alternates between one eye}, then the other, it should be possible to just treat it like a continuous video stream. That should allow me to use a standard video mix program shouldn't it? Probably get some left/right sync problems, but moving the edit by one frame should correct that. Any thought/suggestions from anyone? Making the 5.1 surround soundtrack is already proving very labour intensive, but hopefully worth it in the end. 2) I will be floating over the pond next week, so can anyone recommend some current good, alternative music shops in London (and/or South West UK). I'm sure there are many so I'd best to take the answer off-air. Many thanks in advance, cheers bbroo

Can anyone recommend a video mixing program that will allow me to mix 3-D DVD video I think Viscosity from soundforge will do.
On the B&T theme Abstractions has been remixed for the UK release. Those of you who purchased the Jap version may have noticed inconsistencies (background noises, increased under compression) in the original version. The new improved version has been totally redone by fil n ian at koncrete studios and will replace the slightly dodgy older version. (buy one get one free offer does not apply, no purchase needed, anything you purchase on a secured loan may put your home at risk) love you more than food... bill Live like you dont know death, Love like you've never been hurt, Dance like no one's watching!! --==themode2k==--
Ah cool Im so glad that a well rounded professional Like fil le gonidec is overseeing the sonic purity of the record Obviously as soon as I started to train fil in sound engineering I knew he had a bright bright future.. I think the phrase "come on, my mum could do it quicker than that" was used Never mind that you loose 20db of top by age 40 If you listen to enough ministry You can over compensate..! Its easy , fool! aunty -- )) (( c[_] bLiP www.justablip.co.uk

LOL ;) have to say i couldnt tell... but new version is better sweeps are clearer IMHO ambient isnt usually fil's ting the trip back from japan must have set something off i think that sometimes things can be over mastered and fucked about with and looses the edge but not in this case Personally im not one to seek perfection... more raw less contrived school of thought (or just lazy) Simons been doing the mastering on the autolump cd's and seems to be pretty cool One of the tracks went on recommendation to some german bloke (fu*k knows) who really screwed it up... still live n learn (he he he)

I thought you lost that much whatever you do, and listening to too much ministry would make it worse? Anyway, if the UK version is new improved, will they then release it over here in the US? Chris -- http://homepage.mac.com/mihalis68/PhotoAlbum6.html
best to ask smiley that one i think chum there are supposed to be extra bonus tracks for the uk release(?) someone said... Live like you dont know death, Love like you've never been hurt, Dance like no one's watching!! --==themode2k==--
So, I went and forked out all that extra dosh for a Jap version as it had the 'bonus' track that would not be on the UK version and now they have switched it all around again. Grrrrr 8( And they wonder why us fans get a little peeved off sometimes. I feel like I've been done up, like a kipper! So, you're complaining that you have all of the unique versions from the Japanese CD? A year from now, other Orbies will be wishing they had all the special Japanese mixes. :) e --- "billy.b" <billy.b@virgin.net> wrote:
