LX contribution to Manuel Göttsching book
I know very little about electronic pioneer Manuel Göttsching, but LX has apparently penned a few words in appreciation of Herr Göttsching http://manuelgottsching.blogspot.com/ ..off to download his 1984 album E2-E4, which according to AllMusic “has earned its place as one of the most important, influential electronic records ever released” and see what all the fuss is about... It's a great album - very relaxing.
From memory, didn't LX sample part of it for Little Fluffy Clouds? Can't remember, but if you've head the Sueno Latino song that surfaced in the late 80's/early 90's, that was essentially a "cover" version of parts of it.
Anyway, sit back and relax and enjoy the album! :-) On 24 February 2012 10:35, theORBscureDDJ <theorbscureddj@blueyonder.co.uk>wrote:

E2-E4 is a great album! Ash Ra Tempel and Ashra also have some dope releases. The New Age of Earth album might appeal to you Orbsters... Also check out Harold Grosskopf's Synthesist album! http://youtu.be/zWV3m5tKDCk Yer Pal, Gel-Sol ________________________________ From: theORBscureDDJ <theorbscureddj@blueyonder.co.uk> To: What were the skies like when you were young? <orb@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Friday, February 24, 2012 7:14 AM Subject: Re: [Orb] LX contribution to Manuel Göttsching book your not far wrong there nick... downloaded and listening to it as i type... 28 years old and sounds fresh as a daisy!
