What about Ween? I don't believe they've ever been discussed on this list. Personally I think those two guys are goddamned genius. They started out as some drugged-out joke band (and I pretty funny one at that, IMO at least), and somewhere along the way, they got GOOD. Their last two albums have been impressive displays of musicianship to be sure, but personally all always have a soft spot in my heart for their mid-period albums like Chocolate and Cheese and (my absolute favorite) Pure Guava. I'm going to go see them for two nights next week at the Crystal Ballroom in Portland, and I'm really looking pumped about seeing them again. These dudes play for like 2.5-3 hours regularly, and definitely have a good time up on stage, I totally recommend checking them out on their current tour! Oh yeah, their latest album Quebec, is pure genius. Chocolate Town off of it is probably my favorite song in the world right now, beautiful. . . What strikes your fancy?
