weak orb references for mind changing info & to get you meet my new girlfriend
1) I noticed at http://www.concorde2.co.uk/c2.html (enter "17th March" or keyword "blast") that Alex, Steve Hillage and Miquette Giraudy are all "DJ'ing". Anyone know, do Steve and Miquette DJ or will they be plucking 'n singing along? 2) Has anyone tried absinthe (the real Czech 'WORMWOOD' stuff)? Is it worth aquiring a bottle while in Europe or does it make you as depressing as Strindberg? 3) Finally a girl that says just the right things at the right time: http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/lips.php - randomly hit multiple keys (with your left hand) for maximum benefit
2) Has anyone tried absinthe (the real Czech 'WORMWOOD' stuff)? Is it worth aquiring a bottle while in Europe or does it make you as depressing as Strindberg?
It tastes TOTALLY FOUL (flavoured with anise, so it has a liquorice flavor)..........
The proper way is to soak a sugar cube in the liquid, light it on fire in a spoon, and allow it to melt. You then mix it in with the absinthe and that helps with the taste. Its fun, but not as fun as LSD in my opinion - more like a very strong drink that makes you extra-loopy. ---- What were the skies like when you were young? <orb@mailman.xmission.com> wrote:

Yep, that's exactly the way i had it.... and it still tasted HORRIBLE. In my case, tho, it was the liquorice taste it has, which repulses me.
I didn't think it was that bad really.. Deffinatly worth the trouble, imo.. Would love to keep a bottle of it around. On Fri, 11 Mar 2005 16:26:50 -0600, max <max0666@cox.net> wrote:

I thought it to be great stuff! Had it a few times (a friend of mine makes it - apparently it's not that hard to do). Definitely more than just alcohol, more of a euphoric edge to it, definitely nice @ Burning Man in the morning after being out all night :-) But it's no LSD like Rachel says ;-) If I were you I would definitely pick some up (I would if I had the chance). _jason_ _________ ________ _______ _____ ____ ___ __ _ _ _
